That’s the problem one Ontario mom faced.
Tina Singh’s family is Sikh. Like many Sikh boys, her sons don’t cut their hair. They wear it in a topknot bun, covered with a cloth called a patka.
“It’s part of their identity,” says the Brampton mom. “It’s part of who they are.”
