Sixteen months ago, the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) in Charlottetown brought in an injured eagle. The bird had probably been hit by a car.

Staff and students examined the eagle. His head and wings were badly injured. His legs were paralyzed. He couldn’t stand or fly.
