When’s the last time you received a letter? A postcard? A birthday card?

Not an email or a text. Not a post on social media. A genuine piece of mail, delivered by a mail carrier? 

Some young people might answer, “Never.”

In the olden days…

Before the internet, it wasn’t unusual to send and receive mail. 

Christmas cards. Thank you notes. Love letters. Postcards from summer camp or vacations. Letters from faraway family or friends who had moved. Letters to Santa Claus.
