Get ready, soccer fans. The FIFA World Cup kicks off on June 11. 

The World Cup is the biggest soccer event in the world. It only happens every four years. And this time around, it’s coming to North America. Three countries are hosting the tournament – Mexico, the U.S., and Canada. 

48 nations, 104 games

The tournament is bigger than ever. The top 48 men’s national teams will be there. That’s 16 more than before. 

One of those teams is Canada. It’s our third trip to the World Cup.
