It’s a great year to be a Toronto Blue Jays fan. Canada’s only MLB team had an amazing season. The team finished first in the American League East Division. Now they’re in the playoffs. 

No one would have predicted this success at the end of last season. Why? The Jays finished dead last in the AL East in 2024. They went from worst to first in just one season! 

It’s a tie

The Jays’ clinched their playoff spot on September 21. A week later, Toronto won the AL East Division title. It was their first division win in 10 years.
