On April 15, the Women’s National Basketball Association held its draft at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

The sold-out event packed 1000 people into the New York ballroom. A record-breaking two million viewers watched from home.  


Thirty-six talented young players were eligible. Which team would select them? They were all excited to find out. So were their friends, teammates, and family members.
